Lose Weight
I know loosing weight has become a very concerning topic for all people, especially since food nowadays is not healthy yet very satiable. I have managed to loose some weight without much effort a few months ago and I fell very healthy and content with myself. No big effort, no pain, no nightmare. I just made it happen the easy way. Now, remember, I am no expert and I did not study too much “loose weight literature”, which in a way might have been exactly why I even managed to loose weight this easily. I think all this poisonous literature induces us a lot of anxiety and frustration and most of it teaches us only speculative crap with no real ground and no real results. That is why, my article here dedicated to this topic could be actually far better than other so called, specialized articles from specialists in the field.
During the last 3 years, I managed to gain something like 15 kilograms of fat and I was already somewhat … “nice round looking” before that. You can just imagine how round looking I was after that. I never complained about being too fat, but still, I was far from attractive I tell you. Three years of daily mirror looking and not noticing fat becoming more and more abundant. You know, it usually happens like this, you grow fat, you don’t even realize it. Now, people were telling me all the time I was getting way too fat so I had to take some measure, but I had no idea what should I actually do.
I realised I was eating a lot more than I actually needed. For instance, I would have been saturated with just a dish but I was eating two because I used to enjoy the taste more. So my starting point was: I am going to eat only until I feel saturated. You know, any human being is able to tell when they are saturated (not full) still the animal brain inside us keeps on saying: “I am saturated, if I leave from the table I’ll not be hungry anymore but still, these lamb chops are so tasty, yummy, let me have some more, let me enjoy some more.” This is very similar to waking up early or late. A lot of people (including me) tend to oversleep because of apparent pleasure of the moment, when sleep seems so sweet yet if you wake up that very instant, you are fully rested. You usually don’t. You just want to sleep 10 more minutes, to enjoy the pleasure of that sweet sleep, yet your organism doesn’t need it, it’s your brain who thinks it does. So is for food and any other form of psychological addiction.
After reducing the amount of food to the acceptable amount that kept me saturated, I reduced bread, fat, oil, less meat and fewer sweets… actually, almost no sweets. I drank my coffee with artificial sweetener and I gave Coca Cola Light a chance. The human body needs some sugar, it is this thing called glycaemia and it actually needs to stay in normal parameters or else you are likely to faint. So some sugar is necessary. So I had like a coffee once in a while with two tea-spoons of sugar in it. Oil is very consistent, it contains like 1000 kilocalories per 100 grams. Olive oils contain the same amount but its quality seems different. Anyway, olive oil burns faster and does not add to your fat. Still eating without or with less oil is preferable but if you can’t live without it, pour a drop of oil olive on your salad not regular oil, ok? Fats like animal fats are very bad for health. They can actually kill you and I am sure many have had cancers and other heart (circulatory) diseases and they may not have known that animal fat was playing somewhat of an important part there. But for me (since I am still young) they make me fat so I had to eliminate them completely from my food because of this reason. When I mentioned less meat, I actually ate only chicken, beef and fish. Beef like grilled stakes and things but no way McDonalds because fast food is extremely consistent and yet it does not saturate at all. I mean, fast food is the ideal invention for the guys who make money selling it. It’s the kind of food that makes you hungry! You eat one burger and after 10 minutes you are hungry again! Now, isn’t that a magnificent, marvellous money making food? That’s food that actually sells itself per se. Nevertheless I ate no fast food whatsoever and I tried to eat less in the evening.
Naturally this was not a diet, only a very minor restriction on my food. To add to this, I also decided to make some physical exercises to increase the rate of my metabolism since otherwise it would drop to fit a smaller amount of calories that I was going to eat and this way I would have made no business whatsoever. These exercises were consisting of only a little jogging or bicycle since the legs have the largest muscles in our body and the larger the muscle the more energy it needs to contract (when moving) and the more calories it burns to provide this kind of energy. I was like jogging or bicycling around 30 minutes a day. Not much, I know, I was not even putting too much effort into it. I was not even doing it on a regular daily basis, some days I was skipping this.
What came up you may wonder now! Let me tell you. I lost 10 kilograms in 3 months. I still have to loose 5 kilograms more to go back to the way I was looking before but all people noticed this and told me I look so much better. Right now, I know I can do it without effort so maybe some of you could do it just like I did it.
